ASOUT.. a gentle 1-2 day mild up and then right back to deep winter . All those posts yesterday about 4 -5 day torches and this morning melts about nothing for 10 days. Silly fools

Great.  DEEP winter cold with an inch of snow on the ground, all of my "pack" will be gone early next week.

  2. I think I need one of those old school 'Twas The Night Before Christmas/ Ebenezer Scrooge type night caps to cover my dome.  It is right next to a window.

Eric, maybe you can photoshop me into one.

I was wondering how Mitch was doing out there with upslope rain and a gigantic pack

I am curious how some of those heavy packed locations in Maine's snowmobile country are doing from all of this.

Wow it's already gone there? Ours is still about 4" of dense softened ice/sleet. But it has to last another 10 hours which might be too much.

When I left this a.m. it was very sparse with a few areas of just ice.  Here at work in Manchester there was a bit more.

Bullet proof no more. Too bad because it would have been pretty awesome to have that concrete snow stick around right into another snow event.

Reasonable to me, it just takes one shortwave to dive the right way and we get a major nor'easter with all snow.

It's not that simple but ok, snow on

    But it is that simple

Just press the "shortwave dive" button and away we go.

That sh*t is great.  That first write up about the blizzard of 1888 made that storm out to be sheer misery.  When I was a kid (1982 or so) I had a family member who lived to be 106 years old.  She would tell stories of what she remembered of the Blizzard of '88 as a kid.  She even had an album with some photos. Was great stuff.   She lived in the Albany area which got hit with the worst with snowfall amounts.

As much as many of us want snow upon snow, I don't think we would want to be around during the times before modern snow clearing.  I can't see Kevin surviving an 1888 scenario.

Yea, cool peeps. I thought Cold Miser and DonNH were older for some reason. Ray works too hard.

Had to bounce, wife is good just back spasms...false alarm. I got the cold shoulder cuz I didn’t leave when she initially called, just 2 hours after.

    Enjoy this shitty storm.

Probably because of my sophisticated, enlightening posts.
