All 3 nights of the Brooklyn Fair (T,F,S) had rain. Was not good for the Agricultural Society.

Yeah. It was good. I am already envisioning some of the story heading in a certain direction, but I am probably wrong on my assumptions.

What has been result of our massive drought(s) here this summer? I haven't followed too closely the impacts on the farming industry or other businesses, etc. What impact has stein had here, how bad has the suffering been? I haven't seen any direct impacts hit me so I am curious how its been around the rest New England (as opposed to OLD England as I know they had some serious dry days over there this summer as well).

I've come close during some snow events but I think 3am was my peak, getting back up before 7am.

The Sickness: Driving through the heaviest downpours since who knows when, and only wondering, how many inches of snow per hour this would be in a winter set up. Followed by thinking how ridiculous I am, only to drive through a heavier downpour only to think the same thing again.

Yup. We have some of those (complete with broken straps) in the boathouse.

Nice sunset tonight after decent rain showers...again. The loons are out tonight, haunting sounds echoing off the water. Also, These folding lawn chairs from the 1960s or 70s are more comfortable than the ADK chairs.

I think my cousins have to replace a few shingles on their boathouse.

Taylor Brook is about 15 minutes from me. They have good October/Oktober fests at the brewery. Catch a nice day and its awesome out on the lawn. Bring some food, drink and be low key.

Woke up to a balmy 51F up here this morning.

If that first pic is supposed to be the neighbor who watered most of July, and got the high water bill then I think he is doing something wrong. His lawn looks like a.ss.

Well, then...That lasted a few hours. No Stein up here for sure.

...3 days later and the sun finally came out up here in the Adirondacks. It's a nice star. Great to see it again.

...Arrived with my parents to the lake house in the Adirondacks yesterday...Sweaty and nasty. Clouds rolled in at around 3pm...Heavy rain...power out until about 11pm. Today, still cloudy and a whopping 65F. Gotta love it.
