At least we have the 40" March Ray promised us.
I don't remember if he promised me 9.5 by this time in the season...I will have to go back and check his crystal ball write up.

Feels nice today
Woke up to frozen, crusty-man-snow and mid 20s, but it's been a nice day.

Snowfall totals from yesterdays storm in CT and the tri-state area as well as selected reports from CT. Thanks to everyone who submitted a report. The fx was about as good as you could hope for. A general 4-8 across much of the region and CT. Not perfect, though as some areas along the SE coast fell below the range. The gradient and ranges for the tri-state are were pretty close but ended up being a few miles north in central NJ.
Final Grade: A-
Took some pictures across the town today
...Me and my 4" surrounded by a 5.5", 7", and a bunch of 6.5" totals. I am truly in the WORST place for snow in NE, CT. Only been living there for a little over a year and I miss Brooklyn snow down the road. ...and even there it wasn't to great.
My 4" aligns with the 4" from the coast, miles south of me. f.ucking awesome. -

"shooting the boot" is something done in rugby, during post match drink-ups either at the bar, party, wherever.
When group sing-a-longs happen, and if you were the person leading the song, and mess up the lyrics you have to shoot the boot...This means take the nastiest rugby boot (cleat/ shoe), and fill it with whatever alcohol was lying around (and sometimes spit, and other stuff).
Some of the older rugby songs have some of the nastiest lyrics by the way. I think the whole practice has become a bit tamer over the years.

...I guess I had my share of snow for the year. Time to take CT out of the picture again. I've enjoyed my less than 10" for the season.

Being a kid going to Woodstock Academy, CT (the town high school) sucks for more reason than one, but the suckiest reason is that they don't have snow days like the old days. They go right to online learning.

5.5 here in Brooklyn with just mood flakes
Every storm has been a loser for me...Everyone to the north, west, east, and south receives more than me. I am just north of Brooklyn now, and only clocked in with 4". I am in the WORST spot in NE Connecticut.

Ended up with the low end of Ryan's 4-8 forecast from last night.
4". Whatever else falls probably won't be significant enough to add to that total.
Still haven't reached double digits this season.

Mods got to crack down on the BS posts …this place becomes unreadable.
This is the time where the models lose the storm(it happens every single time), but this time they haven’t lost it(yet), but they changed the evolution. It’s gonna trend some more, you can bet on that. It may trend back to a more major event, we see that many times too. If it doesn’t, and is a 2-4” event, it will fit right in with the vibe of the season, but will still be the biggest event for many in SNE.
Take it and stop moaning, ma nature doesn’t give one shit if you don’t want 1-3”, STFU and brush it off your car, and get your ass to work!
...Wolf among men.

Is there some sort of index correlating George’s post to weenie ratio, kind of like the Waffle House index? If not, there should be!
No idea what the Waffle House index is and am afraid to look it up. Sounds like a computer virus waiting to happen as soon as I click the link.

Yeah the models arent showing what the Euro did yesterday, but the important thing is they moved away from the cutter and are showing a Miller B now. Im not buying a progressive solution at all, in my opinion they will start trending back to yesterday’s Euro run over the next couple of days due to the blocking.

Another 0.0 to add to my season total of 4.75. Not even any ice. 33 and rain driving all the way to work. Some towns along the way had ice on the trees. Meh and meh all the way.
The only good thing is that I am another day closer to June.

41F, and some sparsely placed large, wet-azz-flakes falling here in Manchester.
Looking forward to more WAP! WAP! WAP! (wet-a.ss-precipitation) tomorrow.
