  1. Worked out well. Trails open and some local miles tonight. Enjoying it even more given the rarity.
  2. I'm with you. Not pining.. More tongue in cheek. That said, MKX taking lead and coordinating could make it a bit easier. Vis down to about a mile now in central Boone County. Roads dusted. Small flakes.
  3. Flurries underway - currently in western McHenry County. Looking for that upgrade.
  4. Watch start times are interesting (some different takes in spite of coordination): DVN 12/22 12 a.m. LOT 12/22 6 p.m. MKX 12/22 6 a.m.
  5. Great to have things frozen up before this gets in play. Drifting pretty nicely on the north/south roads today. Stage is set.
  6. Very similar event to last Friday, with roads plowed/plows in action from basically northern McHenry County on up.
  7. Very similar event to last Friday, with roads plowed/plows in action from basically northern McHenry County on up.
  8. Flipped over and ripping. Front end wasted on rain. 1-2" looks in play. On the grassy.
  9. Local ski hills seeing some action anyway.
  10. Nice gust at the front end. Shake down the walnuts.
  11. I'll take a random Severe T-Storm warning to cap the weekend.
  12. Check out the recently re-opened High Bridge in Eau Claire. Built in 1880 and served as an active railroad bridge until 1992. Converted to a pedestrian bridge in 2015 and then main supports rebuilt in the last year or so. https://volumeone.org/articles/2022/03/16/293021-hit-the-trail-again-ecs-high-bridge-reopens
  13. A lot of broad rotation going on but nothing too focused.
  14. Looking due west from just north of train station.
  15. Rochelle an easy run. 40 minutes out. Would love to keep wheels east of the Rock River today.
  16. Wow. Let's pull that much liquid equivalent, along with good cold in place, come December.
