    Scored a quick 4" tonight. Ended up out on the sleds just after darkness fell with flurries in the wake of the initial light snow band. Did a quick zip up to Hebron and back, not aware of the heavy snow incoming. Got absolutely slammed the last few miles.     Legit ZR plus traffic plus the half inch of snow combined with that not quite enough there to send the plows out earlier has created a suitable mess of the roadways. Similar icy drippage from the power lines as well. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    I think that explains it. About halfway southeast driving down to Crystal Lake yesterday there was a noticeable difference in ice. Like the icicles all along the bottom edge of street signs started showing up, along with noticeable glazing on the trees and shrubs. That icing zone sounds like it tapered off further toward Cary.     Sleet and a few flakes in downtown Woodstock. Drove about five miles up, vicinity 10C and we are all fat flakes with about 5 inches down and looking great. 27 F on the truck temp. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
