  1. You know I live just SE of him. Flakes are just being demolished though
  2. None of these latest model runs have any practical meaning. Any preparations are already made, or not made.
  3. Agree. But it has been ticking, just ticking, east the last two runs.
  4. Had to repost this from somewhere else, too awesome http://earth.nullschool.net/#current/wind/isobaric/1000hPa/orthographic=-71.42,38.72,2494
  5. The Euro was also too far west. As usual, the blend is your friend.
  6. I would pretty much expect the Euro to continue making the same ticks east it made at 0z and 12z. Small ones, but ticks nonetheless.
  7. Hmm... I don't think the GFS has a very good handle on this storm, but the GFS and RGEM are almost spitting images of each other.
  8. HIRES NAM isn't as bad for NE CT as the LESSRES NAM. RGEM has shown the same two max zones for the past 4 runs, extremely consistently. NAM has been fairly consistent for a couple runs as well though.
  9. He's right though...the Euro has the same idea, but more QPF for us anyway. Even if the band doesn't pivot and rot over us, it will still come through.
  10. I tried to post this yesterday, but I don't remember if it went through with all the board issues. For posterity:
  11. If the Euro is right, it will completely shut down NYC metro, which wouldn't be comparable to Feb 13 IMHO.
  12. That band means business. Where is kgay relative to that?
  13. I like Kevin's original call of 20-22" for most of Tolland County. Most reasonable call I've ever seen him make, if that's still what it is.
  14. That first map was odd...they will get a bigger front end dump than it showed for storm total. I wouldn't be surprised if it was just an updating error.
