  1. When this goes over the benchmark, we will all call it the navgeorge storm.
  2. Well that's why as I mentioned this morning, I usually just look at the individual LP centers and do a rough median/mean of those in my head, rather than look at the actual mslp. Kind of an ensemble of positions, rather than mbs.
  3. Yeah, was gonna say...it's still not the GFS going over Harrisburg.
  4. I just meant they didn't travel straight up the hudson like the OP does.
  5. Actually, kind of goes from NYC to Hartford. Anyway, it's at least in a position where positive things can happen over the next few days.
  6. Yeah, still indicating a track right up the Hudson. Which is east of the OP, at least.
  7. Even if it does turn into an event, we would still most likely be on the outside looking in.
  8. I think that was decent as far as what we'd hope to see from the GFS
  9. Until the end, yes, for the cape. But if it was further west, the near interior would probably still clean up
  10. Probably not the best way to encourage a positive conversation, but I'm going to let it go.
  11. geez, still think Friday could end up being the bigger storm for eastern areas...that's just not that far off from something pretty cool
  12. It looks like a timing issue more than an overzealous shortwave
  13. https://status.commoditywx.com/?utm_source=embed
  14. Maybe if you had just been here 2 hours ago it would have solved the damn problem
  15. The 12z ICON even tries to give me a tiny bit of upslope enhancement off the Willimantic valley lol
  16. don't forget the bitter cold in between lol
  17. The 12z FV3 looks almost identical to the 6z GFS at the end of its run...is that a function of the way the model works, or is it giving the GFS support (over the NAM)?
