    It's probably a decent increase in snow for SNE vs 0z though...the additional confluence did help

    yeah, certainly up at BOS latitude. Maybe we can get that northern shortwave to slow down or something or something

    the slowing of that shortwave is what has caused the major adjustment, at least from what I can tell. gives it more time to start the phase further west. Maybe something will change in future runs, i dunno

    Definitely always been true for the GEFS. Gets even worse around 84-60 hours, spread is always too small.

    well yeah, except that I will say that it's rare to have it too amped - it definitely has a progressive bias. So it being amped before was a flag. Glad it's back to whiffing tbh

    I understand and agree with what you mean about the clustering; I am saying that there has only been a western cluster since 12z yesterday, at least on the GEFS.
