  1. The GW rule. When George and Will agree, so shall the waether be.
  2. I don't know George. I would proceed with caution until we see the NOGAPS come aboard.
  3. Hey pros, is that a massive windex signal for NNE early next week?
  4. On a more serious note, that's a radical change over the Rockies in a 24 hour period. I wonder if it argues for a surface developement in the Tennessee Valley region:
  5. I think you just said spring is coming....in 1,020 words.
  6. I sent my employees home as the changeover was occurring. It took one of them 7 hours to drive 25 miles. One of my favorite all-time events. A real Great Plains-style blizzard....4" of snow, plummeting temps, 50+ winds.
  7. The fat lady may have choked on her ham sandwich last night.
  8. That dive bomber from Ontario look has been depicted on a couple of euro runs lately. Somtheing to watch, as this has been a region closed-to-business this season.
  9. Here is an excerpt from my 2009-2010 log describing this to some extent: 12/31 to 1/3 8" Huge trof, at one point a week before looked like BECS, but southrn stream swung way east then retro to ME, Boston. 2.5 on day one with zipper, then 3 with Norlun, then 2.5 wrap around. Very spotty accums. We did well in Trumbull. Very warm air backed into ME and QE, we stayed bitter cold Sunday with near blizzard conditions at times.
  10. Easton, what is your seasonal total to date?
  11. Another trip to pound town for the New England snowbelt region. Is there a new Great Lake to my NW?
  12. 4" with the front end, another 3" thereafter including almost 2" in the final weenie band. 7" total..
  13. I agree. Lots of twists and turns. Mother nature is pretty cool, she keeps us humble and in awe.
  14. I closed the book on this storm 2 hours ago. It ain't over baby till it's over!
  15. You want the radars to blow up downstream from you? All you have to do is start rooting for the end of the storm.
  16. Moderate with giant flakes. C&I special...for the last snow of the season?
  17. Low top schnizzle snow, barely showing on radar but enough to cover the roads.
  18. The kid (early 20s) next door loves to run his snowblower...and he just arrived on our driveway!!!!!
