  1. Mount Snow summit 31.4F with light snow and fog. I guess Killington could make snow right now. Humidity may be too high.
  2. Snowing at Stratton and accumulating above 3'000'. https://www.stratton.com/the-mountain/webcams
  3. Maybe frost here tomorrow night. NWS forecast has a low of 36F.
  4. Looks like snowmaking is possible tonight and tomorrow on Killington Peak. NWS has a low of 27F and a high tomorrow of 30F.
  5. Imagine if we have this amount of precipitation from 12/1-3/1.
  6. It's was a disgustingly wet summer. The first three weeks of July where okay, but it was like living in a tropical rainforest after that.
  7. I'm very confidant that there will be skiing in Vermont/Maine within the next week. Killington and Sunday River being the two places likely to make snow going forward.
  8. Powerwashing heavy rain here. Lot's of leaf loss here even from trees that are still green
  9. I did Killington/Okemo/Mount Snow yesterday. It's mostly past peak with 25-40% leaf drop before today's rainfall. The CRV from Northampton, MA to Rutland, VT exit 6 On 1-91 was nearly peak. Route 2 had lousy fall color change from 8A in Charlemont to 1-91. It was nice looking just to the west of there, but I had enough of driving at that point. Any area's with Oak trees are still 100% green at this point.
  10. Stratton is about 60% bare above 2,500' from what I saw on the webcam today. Seems like it varies by area. I just want to get out ahead of the heavy rain forecast for Thursday.
  11. I'll take it without the devastating January thaw.
  12. Thst was the winter that never stopped. I like snow, but not that much. NYC set it's all time seasonal snowfall record and it snowed into May
  13. For some reason Killington still looks good with full foliage to at least 3'000'. I'm thinking of driving there first and then heading south on 100. Hopefully it's sunny tomorrow.
  14. Nice clear evening here approaching sunset. 74F.
  15. 81/65, feels like late August outside. Strange blue sky with orange disk.
  16. Looks like it's past peak foliage conditions above 2'500' in Southern Vermont.
