we will have to wait until 7 pm to have the final total on the park.. remember the blizzard of 2016 at first it just fell short of the record of 2006 then they recalibrated and surprise we broke the record,

i find it hard to believe between 7 am and 1 pm when it was puking snow for 3 hours after 7 that central park in 6 hours got less then 5 inches of snow

clearly the nws way of measuring snow at central park is faulty... who else measures snow every 6 hours just nonsense.,.

hard to believe that from 7 to 1 central park picked up less then 5 inches of snow where here in manharttan where i am it was puking snow for hours after 7.. laguardia seems more believable.

they have to measure the snow every hour from the park none of this 6 hours where snow compacts newark reports every hour why not nyc.

wpix reported the lowest pressure in the storm was 966 mb earlier..
