You could feel the change tonight for sure. The rising dews are keeping temperatures not too far from their daytime highs. A tad muggy feeling but still quite comfortable. Last night without ac for a spell.

I didn’t call high heat. I said 75% of the days AOA going forward from Thursday. MEX shows temperatures reasonably above normal for the weekend. All we need is to exceed 80. I expect that most days. Once we get 10 days out from now we’ll need a few ticks higher. And with the dews it certainly will be above normal for the mean. Nothing shows all day stratiform rain.

Today’s eps suggests building WAR and heat ridge in the SW with weakness west of us suggesting warm, humid, and ample opportunities for tstorms.

I did read that the next upgrade includes weeklies daily and ensemble members expanding to 101 vs 51 now.

I go shorts from the first warm burst in May into late September or later of it stays warm. But never ever would I wear shorts on a plane and I’ve flown a lot.

True. I think the warmest wx here is the weekend and maybe next week. As Tip has stated, the pattern has changed.

Overcast and mild to warm is fine. I avoid the sun save for the 1-2 hours before it sets.
