    Humid and warm here in Wilkes Barre. We have some els here but it certainly feels like summer.

    Showers and mild tstorms overnight in the wee hours. Now the sun is breaking out at times. Summery for sure. Heading to Pittsburgh over the weekend into next week before returning home late week. Better storms likely both en route and in one of my absolute favorite cities.

    I have to admit that looking at the distribution increases my pessimism for the upcoming winter. Nevertheless it can change and we're still in June so I would not forecast anything just yet but man if this continues we can have a pretty wet but too warm for much snow winter.

    Misery most it’s not. To me that’s cold. Maybe cloudy and thundery some days but it will not at all be chilly.

    You could feel the change tonight for sure. The rising dews are keeping temperatures not too far from their daytime highs. A tad muggy feeling but still quite comfortable. Last night without ac for a spell.

    Sad indeed and hubris is the operative word here. But I agree we that we we’re hoping they’d be successfully rescued.

    You guys will complain bitterly about 86/71 days. Certainly not a record but 5 ply.

    Man just far enough north for a perfect day with full sun. For once my location is good!

    It’s a nice day! Full sun feels fine but thankfully tonight will be my last jacket night for awhile and it may dew up enough to avoid it.

    Beautiful when I left home but rather cloudy in Worcester.

    It usually is somewhat delayed and remember it’s very early-in all my years here i never hit the beach before July.

    I didn’t call high heat. I said 75% of the days AOA going forward from Thursday. MEX shows temperatures reasonably above normal for the weekend. All we need is to exceed 80. I expect that most days. Once we get 10 days out from now we’ll need a few ticks higher. And with the dews it certainly will be above normal for the mean. Nothing shows all day stratiform rain.
