  12. This is a big storm coming and unfortunately will likely require at least a 1 week reset before anything happens despite enough cold post fropa Monday.
  13. The pacific is beholden to MJO. MJO is notoriously poorly forecasted. Hopefully we’re wintry before new years like 1993 which was warm until it went full arctic for a couple of months. It was ok then-I was still in my 40s but my preference is a mild winter with a lot of snow ala 2012-13.

  16. This is actually a great post! I’ve seen this year in and year out. In most years you get a favorable period but trying to lasso it before it is ready is frustrating. Nowadays I take a que sera approach.
