I don’t consider this a clipper and I questioned that poster. This is a west to east impulse arising well south of the typical clipper which got its name as an Alberta Clipper. A reasonable variation would be a Manitoba mauler.
Yeah the front of my house is the sunny side. The back patio is still treacherous. Kind of like March in Boston during a particularly snowy month. On the sunny side of beacon street bare or patches while the shady side has 12+.
As far as guidance, NAM did well. Rgem really was terrible, someone said ICON-I thought it sucked-as all over the place. Euro did pretty well as did gfs once it got a clue around d1-2. NAM family excelled from 84 hours out though.
