If they can afford it, ACL surgery on dogs is highly successful. We had our dog’s acl done when she was 11 two years ago. Definitely extended her life-now if she makes it will turn 14 in June. 103 lbs is probably too much. Our dog was in the 90s. Now maintained at 65 lbs and much more mobile. I was against the surgery but given the result really happy we had it done.

No chance. I never commuted using major highways in my life. More likely I’d have taken the day off.

And there you have it. I unfortunately will go to my grave having moved to California 14 months earlier. It is my biggest disappointment in 75 years and drives a stake through my heart every 2/6.

Funny thing is maybe 2 weeks earlier was the “Lindsay Storm” (2/9/69). I went home for the weekend as I had an interview as part of my application to school in Boston on Saturday in jersey city. Forecasts were 3-5 with a changeover. Got close to 2 feet at my house. During the 100 hour storm I was back at school and had by then decided to come to Boston. That February more than any other factor influenced my decision.

What I cleared today did not seem like fluff. I think BOS LE will be revised up as often happens in snow events.

Final ends up at 12.2. The lingering bands added 0.5 inches in the last 4 hours.

Right! I’m a mile away from home running some errands thinking “wait a minute boys, this one’s not dead!”. Didn’t empty the board (cleared at the 6 hour from snow starting point and still have some time and busy otherwise so maybe I’ll pick up a few tenths more. Great way to usher in a new pattern! And enough to withstand whatever Sunday’s warmth throws at us.

Moderate snow now. Serious band has slipped SE and hence smaller flakes. Just under 10 inches so far.
