  1. 966mb low 200 nmi SE off the coast of cape cod at the end of the run! i'd wish sailors enjoyment but that certainly would not be fun to get stuck in
  2. Cyclogenesis going on at the surface under those messy dashes Ah. Thank you!
  3. I'm still learning, but the 0z nam panel below has this new energy I havent seen on other runs that seems to consolidate. It seems a lot stronger, and on the surface sim radar panel it shows low placement over the carribbean. Is that inconsequential or something drawing our system more SE? 4. HRRR sim radar at the tail end ~7pm looks rough SE of DC wrt ZR. Hopefully it stays sleet.
  5. I should’ve kept my mouth shut! Just changed over to IP.
  6. 4.25” in Huntingtown. I’m in circled area, still no sleet mixed in… yet. Also, a few wind gusts in past hour have been a ton of fun! 17F
  7. And 13 minutes later....First flakes!!!! 18/8
  8. Just Virga in huntingtown. At least DP is up to 7 now...thats climbing steadily.
  9. 19/6. Radar returns you see are still virga overhead. 2223 EST.
  10. LWX point forecast upped highs tomorrow to above freezing down here (was well below yesterday).
  11. +1. To your point, it looks like in this sounding it just barely crosses over the freezing mark, and is really just a sliver around 700mb. Wow.
  12. Can you or someone post the IP and ZR map for this one? I know we shouldn't read too much in but its becoming a legit concern for the S zones. TY.
  13. Agree that the 12z isnt really all that far off from something great. Still time for oscillation. Also...LWX disco earlier today discussed how AIFS picked up on the OP trends earlier, but that it was starting to settle in. What is it showing now?
  14. I measured a tad over 9 early this AM before the additional precip. I'm off of Ponds Wood Road.
  15. Total is 9.4 in. Some compaction overnight.
  16. What are the other So MD folks seeing? I just measured 7.1" already...wasn't expecting that by 8pm.
  17. Huntingtown, Calvert County. Really coming down hard.
  18. Yeah! Easily. We had a smidge over 8 here in huntingtown a couple of hours back so I think 10 once this dies down is a safe bet.
