    That is ridiculous! Especially based on the PBP, weaker highs, big North shifts and I still got 20+ inches! I love the new GFS!

    They live and die by the 85 cutoff and 98% of the time , it’s right. But sometimes storms break the mold! And he did show 1-3” could happen S of 85

    Our local met , CJ , kept harping on 85 and N getting all the snow, while the modeled sim radar behind him, had snow line down to greenwood, for like 8 hours! SMDH

    I guess the same reason people look at 84 hr NAM. People want all info available, right or wrong

    I’ve seen it come in 8-10 hours early ! Since I think the arrival time was around 4-6 pm around GSP, this would start it in the morning and not have any chance to warm Saturday! Could really help a lot, 2-4 degrees can make a monumental difference!

    I’m just looking for “ trends” the NAM has the strongest of any high pressures modeled! If we’re dependent on stronger high , to get colder wedge and temps , on a borderline airmass already, not much room for a weakening trend!

    The high on the NAM is now sub 1040, a slight weakening and not good if you were hanging your hat on the NAM
