Congrats to all that received some rain last night. I got 1.08 and the monthly total is now at 8.09. One thing the farmers crops are looking pretty good up this way, better than last year at this time. But things can go south pretty fast if it starts getting dry in the coming weeks.

Starting to see the lightning even though its cloudy for quite awhile.

My NWS forecast says 3/4 to 1in. Tonight. Such a discrepancy. I'm hoping no heavy rain and less then a 1/2in.

Yes I noticed with the last rain we had when the creek came up it didn't go back down right away within a day as it usually does in the summer, with a summer downpour. It is still up a little. I know that the water table is getting replenished. So any heavy downpours will make the creek rise fairly quickly. When the creek gets to over 6.5ft. my garden will start taking on water.

I'll try to send some south and west. We had a little too much in a little over a month, especially for my potatoes. They are planted in the bottom land Next to creek. It's kinda too wet the last several weeks in there.

1.70 rain yesterday from a series of thunderstorms. Monthly total now stands at 7.01in

I put my rain Guage out to see if the accurite or the Ambient is off. When it pours the Ambient doesn't pick up the heavy rain an total it quickly. The accu-rite does. So my Ambient is off when it pours. My total for the month of July so far is 6.85
