    We will be in Louisville, Kentucky for Louder than Life festival. The weather out there will be anything from pleasant, from the remnants of future Hurricane Helene are forecasted to be out there.

    There should have been a warning for the storm at my place last night. Was starting to get worried about that wind during the storm.

    What a storm last night around 11pm. Continuous lightning, wind and heavy rain. 1.18 rain from that thunderstorm 1.41 rain total overnight. Power still off est. Time to restore 12pm today. What caused these storms to be so intense in late September and so late at night?

    I believe the hummingbirds have flown south. We didn't see any for 2 days.

    Didn't see any hummingbirds yesterday or this morning, wondering if they have moved on. I'll keep my eyes peeled. Hopefully I'll see one,but I think the odds don't favor it. We'll low an behold as I'm writing this on my porch, one has appeared. It's after the hanging baskets of Petunias that we have on the porch and out front of the porch. Glad they are still here!

    Must have has a very light drizzle overnight nothing in the rain gauge.

    Humming birds are still here. We even had a baby humming bird at the flowers twice yesterday. It could hardly fly.

    The chances of rain where i'm at have now dwindled to 20% according to the new NWS forecast this morning.

    It is getting dry even where I live the grass has really slowed down on growing. I didn't have to get the older Craftsman to suck up the grass this week after mowing. Rain would be welcome at this point. But you need a few inches of rain to get you back in the mowing game...again.
