It seems this year there are a lot of critters around. Not to mention squirrels, chipmunks, mice. And hardly anyone the last few years hunts small game anymore. I also noticed that the deer have become so brave lately coming close to the house and in the garden.

Grass is still growing here. and the mowing continues. But i'm starting to see signs that it is starting to get dry. Nothing critical or to be worried about yet but it's starting.

Yes it is dry despite having 4.08 rain for the month. But 2 in of that came from heavy thunderstorms in a short period of time

It sure felt like it out on the mower at 7 o'clock this morning then a very light shower with the wind.

Where is summer? temp was 66 at 5am now it's 62 with a stiff breeze.
