That would have been the summer of doom. Even Voyager can vouch for that. Hopefully we can rack up a few 90 degree days before we enter June.

Will the severe threat play out? currently cloudy here. I have my doubts as those storms supposed to be crossing the Susquehanna River in about 5 hrs. from now

Voyager i guess the heat is coming later this week but I don't think its staying for more then 2 days...but i'm no forecaster.

Seen 1st lightning bug tonight

.001 for the day here. I seen it was training on the west side of the river.

My high yesterday was 84. I seen Williamsport had a high of 82 yesterday. Why Have I been noticing that Williamsport typically in the spring always seem to have higher temps then mdt? Is the river the influence? To me I don't think my accurite weather station is far off on its reading. It's just where I live that makes the difference.

I seen Capital City Airport hit 80

38 this morning.

I live virtually the bottom of a valley. The top of the Mahantango mountain (I live on the north side) elevation is 1100 ft my elevation is 499 ft. At this time of year it gets warm where I'm at. In the winter it gets cold here. I had several people that came to visit me in the summer and said I can't believe how hot it is here and you live here at the mountain. I also have a garden below my house beside the Mahantango Creek. Working in the garden in the summer is like almost Working in a greenhouse. I think living here has its micro climate. Now if I walk to my fields that the elevation is about a hundred ft higher then where my house is it is cooler.

81 for the high today, after that morning low of 33 with some frost.
