Man that is impressive. Going to be a cold night on tap. Yes im hoping we see some decent snows this winter.

Yes we were at 59 at midnight here and now we are down to 48 degrees. A cold rainy September for sure. I love it!

All is going to plan for this week and weekend. We will get cold then a brief warm up then cold again then a warm up then another shot of cooler cold weather.

Yep this year is going to be early especially from the past recent years. Some have already seen some patchy frost and this weekend will accelerate the foliage change with it being downright cold. Temps keep creeping down this weekend and I suspect some frost advisories will be hoisted up and maybe some freeze watches also

Yeah after tomorrow things will cool down big time, and starting Friday it will be downright cold for this time of the year. I do think we rebound a bit depending on the high latitude blocking. Its very jumpy currently and I don't trust it.

Lol dry months? We live in a rainforest now. Yeah we truly have not had a great fall in several years.

Well realistically we are entering back into our rainy period. Fall and winter are our wettest months. This year has just continued were we left off last year. I do think we will see more widespread frost but this is still early on in getting temps into the 30s. The GFS has been impressive with this cold front so we will see. We are still early on in the year.

The euro is caving to the GFS with the trough coming through next week.

There is still going to be some difference solutions to the trough coming in. It will come but just how long and how potent the trough is, is to be seen.

Yep today is right out if October. High in the 50s and rainy.

Wow what a cold morning for September! Had a low of 32 degrees although it was brief. Had some patchy frost and it was just down right cold for this time of the year.

The temp has plummeted tonight. Already down to 41 degrees.

Yeah this year has been unbelievable starting all the way in January.

Yeah today was straight out of October. Absolutely beautiful and chilly running some 20 degrees below average.

The NWS is calling for some patchy frost tonight. Impressive to say the least.

18z still looks impressive with the trough coming in. By that look we would definitely have an early frost.

The euro still has a very deep trough but im skeptical of this solution currently. The GFS has backed off a bit on the trough solution. Ill give it 2 to 3 more days to see what is what.

Looks like blocking in the NA region is breaking down in the future. Look for a weaker trough and not as cold on future model runs. We just cannot seem to get good blocking when it matters.

Great numbers guys! Especially for September! I ended up at 36 this morning under a clear cold morning! That is nearly 20 degrees below average for this time of the year. This weather is amazing!

The euro is still hammering a significant trough coming through in about 6 to 7 days. This is the 4th time in a row the euro has shown this. The GFS is trying to play catch up and was not even showing this yesterday. Im getting a bit more certain on the evolution of this upcoming pattern.

A very cool day on tap currently with the temp at 58 degrees with a brisk wind. This is October weather for sure. Like I said high elevation frost tomorrow I believe.

Todays euro went gang busters towards the end with blocking in the NA region and a ridge out west. Would be a significant cold shot for us. We will see. Blocking has been showing up only to disappear as we get closer to the date.
