  1. Wow. Maybe it’s time to call a turd a turd.
  2. Hmmm...typically a several day snow (precip) siege consolidates into a <24 hour storm. We'll see. I would welcome days and days of snow.
  3. Sign me up. I'm actually happy we'll melt all the crap on the ground now and start over fresh.
  4. Flip the pattern to warm and dry? Where do we sign up??
  5. Effects at the keyboard level usually take a few weeks after the initial perturbation at the head level.
  6. Cold and dry? Pretty sure most just had a 2-4” liquid equivalent storm this past weekend with another 1-3”+ LE event for this Thursday. Sure, the cold has generally coincided with lack of storms, warming up in time to rain. I’ll give you that.
  7. Yeah. You can see it on the 12z GFS. Cutter potential reigns supreme. We need that -NAO and we need it now.
  8. I think so. They came in at 1.6” this morning. Maybe got another half inch of sleet on top of that? Bogus measurement though. Nearby had 3-4”
  9. If FEB skunks, BOS goes futile with an asterisk since the observer doesn’t know how to measure snow.
  10. That line of thunderstorms from RI to FL. Pretty darn impressive. 28F / -FZRN
  11. We freeze here now. 29F and rain. Cars already glazed over.
  12. I got 5. No way they got 1.6 Somehody write a letter to BOX.
  13. Dang. 37F and rain here. About 5” when it turned to sleet at 5am.
  14. SWFE 101...I’m not getting less snow than Taunton in this being NE.
  15. Your pack might survive the midweek cutter. All base no treble.
  16. Congrats. It’s the winter of PF’s revenge
  17. Looks like 2-5” here and will wash most away and freeze up the leftovers.
  18. Regression is a b!tch. BOS probably finishes about 50 percent of average.
  19. Instead of 50F here like the mesos show, maybe 39F? Respect the Arctic high.
  20. You’re right. I was referencing 2018. I was living in Virginia in 17, when coincidentally we did have a week of 80s around Presidents Day.
