Over 1" just south of Lancaster City. A little sparse Harrisburg and North.
Around 4 there was a heavy band from Lancaster to Quarryville

12Z HRRR coming in really wet tomorrow. If this were a snowstorm the Nam would have had 4-6' a few days ago.
Pretty common for models to have a hit, take it away, then trend in back within the last 24 hours. Warmup for winter

6Z runs look a little better. Another bump north and we’re back in the game. Glad this wasn’t snowstorm.

Spent 28 years living there. I’d always call in my spotter reports growing up to find it misspelled on the lsr and pns

Wonder if the rain chances in the Susquehanna Valley will be greater today then the last few days?
Looking at satellite trends, I think we see much more coverage this way compared to yesterday.
also Sterling is running 60 % pops along their Mason Dixon counties where as State College is only carrying 30 % pops for their first tier

Same happened to me. One lonely cell. Over 1” of rain and a gust over 40. Power is out.

Got up to 91 today but now down to 86 as the clouds invade. Heat not nearly as potent as I thought it may be.
92 for me. Outflow boundary pushed through and knocked me down to 79. No rain yet

The Euro has been leading the way on this (which is a worry) and had the LSV wet since yesterday. GFS is a jack like you said. So are the Canadians. Sort of reminiscent of a snow storm that came from no where. Some thought we had two great days and Sun is going down hill fast (especially later).
These hay making days are the worst for turf grass moisture. I’m rooting for a cloudy day tomorrow with rain in the eve and overnight before the heat hits
