Yea, it's not showing strong at this point.
I gave one of the neighbors of the course a rain gauge so in events like this I have a reading. He’s on standby now

It is still pretty sturdy right now but seems to have a bit of a southern orientation to the movement.
Building down this way.

@Cashtown_Coop, you are about to lose it....89.2. And that was after having a rain shower move within a few miles of your spot. Back up to 87 here.
90.8 so far. Highest this year

@Cashtown_Coop, still seems unlikely but its no longer an impossible long shot...that we do not hit 90 one time from this hot stretch. Today is looking questionable now. It is not budging here at 87. And with the potential of clouds or rain Sunday, if we could sneak out tomorrow we are in play. Still doubt it but I thought we would crack 90 on Wed so... just getting this far is pretty crazy.
Up to 88 at 2:00. Gonna be close today

Yea, they are definitely breaking 87. I guess to me anything that is 7-8 degrees AN (or less) in the summer is just a hot day. I used to relish playing outside in the 90's as a kid. Getting to 93 or 94 today is nothing like cracking 70 in February IMO (except for people working outside).
78 here so far. Can Cashtown and I get our first 90 in months?
Had 89 yesterday. Already running 4 degrees warmer from this time yesterday. Nice thing is I’m home for the day. Have the crew working 12a to 8a shifts.

The think the end of line coming off the bubble is the spot? Or am I wrong?
I’m pretty sure that’s just a wind direction indicator. Note the variability

We are banging 82/70 now. I was just out for 10 min and staying in the shade it is really not too bad. Weekend is going to be much worse I fear.
I went to lowes around 10am and came the back way through blue ridge summit. Nice drive and never hit above 80 on car thermometer

80 here at 11. I think my BN streak is toast. 90 is still a bit of a question. MDT 83.4 about to break to 84. They are the same as yesterday at this time. A bit of a surprise there.
84/72 at 11:30.

I am using MDT's average number so there is a little fudging but our highest temp has been 87 (since June 17th). I just checked out Cashtown and he is the same or similar. Little or no AN normal days for over a month.
Just looked it up, I've hit 90 twice so far this summer.

It’s not the size of your thermometer, it’s how you read it.
