  1. Little shout out from CTP System may be overachieving for portions of the Lower Susq, specifically Adams County where our observer in Cashtown cashed in at 3" new, with still 1-2 more hours of heavy snow go to.
  2. First signs of sleet entering Adams County toward Littlestown @losetoa6
  3. Hang out lol. Heaviest still to the west ready to push in
  4. Just measured 3”. Still heavy snow. Radar continues to backbuild
  5. Lol yeah it’s hard to maintain 2” an hr rates. 3-4” is a lock at this point
  6. I like CTP pulling the trigger and giving people the heads up on a high impact event. It may have saved lives. Technically wasn’t a squall but it gets the whistles blown.
  7. Just flurries here. many many flurries with 1/4 mile vis
  8. Currently in my district, high schoolers are ok. The elementary route is ongoing right now. Bad timing.
  9. It took 20 min for the roads to cave. Going to be slick out there
  10. Yes roads are going to be cold. Im 24/16 currently. 7-8a start is a high impact event. If it were coming in at 4p then id agree with little road stickage
  11. Agreed. If not, I wouldn’t want to be the district that had a bus or a student involved in an accident.
  12. Gotta love this Monday Rain and snow, becoming all snow after 1pm, then gradually ending. High near 37. South wind 9 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible. Monday Night
  13. Looks like a triple point with low development. That should provide plenty of lift. If the ball rolls the right way, lsv could be looking at a low end warning event
  14. Watch this trend the right way the last 24 hours. Nam suggest the lsv gets a quick .3 to .5” of qpf. With rates and an earlier start we could be looking at a 3-6” hit Im going with 1” for Cashtown with 6” reported by trainingtime.
  15. The trees had a layer of freezing rain underneath then a crystal like structure on the outside. You’re right , 12-15” snow depth which is good for Adams County. 6” depth down in Cashtown
  16. @MAG5035 Nice pics. I went for a drive yesterday and at 1600ft ran into what I know now after looking at your pics rime ice on the trees. It almost reminded me of hoar frost
  17. I see an empty sixer along with some scattered empties on the table #poconopartytown
