  1. I think even for you guys, the timing of this is important. We really want as much of main slug of moisture to fall after 4-5pm as possible. The GFS has a potentially nice deform band after sundown that could clobber someone. I really don't want the height of the storm to be at like 1 pm.
  2. at this point I'd probably only use ensemble means for track of the low relative to prior. Don't worry about any details.
  3. I would say the same thing I said yesterday. 8-12" for you. 3.75" for me with a variety of precip types.
  4. you told us the models were good in nino
  5. Canadian is really wet. 10-18" N and W of cities
  6. come to daddy, on an inside straight
  7. THis would be a clobbering N and W of the cities and even in the cities
  8. I think we'll probably mix. But still lots of time. seems like a 3-6" snowstorm for immediate DC metro, with some rain and mixing if someone made me forecast this weekend right now.
  9. Thanks...looks like my sister's place in pocono pines gets clobbered...may have to road trip. This feels like a 3.75" event for me with 8-12" for you. It'd be a nice start tho
  10. A rainy mix in DC due to a super shitty BL is not off the table.
  11. This is what a flatter, colder, slower storm looks like. It's really better for almost everyone. The usual folks will still win
  12. since we're all at like hour 138, you're good
  13. The euro is beautiful y'all....slower, colder, slightly less moist
  14. When Wxbell and SV differ, usually Wxbell is right. In this case, I don't think SV's canadian is run at the same resolution so it's coarser.
  15. It's still pretty good for you. Not saying it's right, but a solution like this is possible.
  16. WT might be a good spot in general if you wanna ski in the snow.
  17. I might travel for this one. I'm gonna wait until Friday probably to decide.
