Wednesday night starting to look interesting. Euro 18z has an inch for some. Why not?

The view out of my “snow watching” window is just amazing, this is such a beautiful snow. Closing in on 6” at my house. Also did a little shoveling but you can’t tell now haha.

First light on my porch.

Closing in on around 2” at my house and it is hammering.

Finally have a light snow at my house in Black Mountain.

Yeah I posted the final map a few posts down. Got excited when we got above 6" lol.

Added another 3.5" after that. NWF will certainly be a thing.

Nam3km is a hammer job for all of WNC. Pretty sure we can lock this one in. I don't see any model showing less than 5"-6" for most all of us. Still going as well this is through hr 24.

About time to start watching the radar. Good luck everyone! Here is my final call map. Hoping we see someone jackpot with 12”.

Seeing the idea of some decent NWF into Sunday AM on the NAM 3km with temps close to zero. Could add to many totals.

Here is my first call map. Might have to up it especially west of Asheville if the Euro keeps firing. Looking to see what the NAM 3km has for us today it seems to be built for systems like this.

It really is a lose-lose situation. We either finally get one right or we are always wrong.

Nam 3km says this starts for the high elevations Friday around noon. This one could really slip up on us here with all the angst about missing snow last weekend and the negative attitude towards forecasting that many currently have.

6z Euro with a widespread 6”. I think this continues to trend towards WNC, we could end up being the bullseye.

6z Ai Euro coming in much better for WNC, but the down east crew isn't going to like it.

Seems that trends continued over night. Lets see what the 6z Euro has to say, but this one looks real.

And Franklin, clearing a move towards more snowfall on the 18z runs. Lets see if that continues through the 00z and 06z and it will be real to me.

Substantial changes in snowfall totals from the 12z EPS to the 18z. Here are the two below. Remember they are only taking into account 10:1 ratio. Really feel like something is finally brewing for us.
