We were all snow here yesterday and almost all day today. As Buckethead just mentioned, I'm seeing some flakes flying around right now as well.

Agreed. Definitely wasn't a bust here. We even picked up a good bit today alone. Id take this every storm.

It's almost a blizzard up here. Still coming down really well and the wind is howling.

I probably have 8 inches on my balcony railing. I haven't been outside, so cant verify what's there, but it's been snowing steady since 1030 this morning. Very nice storm up here. I was worried about temps at one point since it got to 32, but it stayed snow all day.

Started snowing at decent rate within the last hour. Sitting at 26 degrees right now, so it's like being in the Keys compared to yesterday.

I used to live in K-ville back in 2010-2012, and you and I even chatted some. We had some minor events, but youre right. Now, I decided to move to the high country and packed up and moved from Emerald Isle to Beech 2 weeks before the hurricane lol. Luckily, it's been a great snow year up here so far. -
I don't sleep any night, so I'm ready!

Sitting at 9 degrees right now. Ready to go! Might be a sleepless night tomorrow night. Plenty of Celcius in the fridge (no pun intended. Or maybe I did)

Yeah, I was guessing 2 or 3. Does this accum tend to show up on the current model outputs or would this be icing on the cake of what they are currently showing?

My thermometer said 2 degrees when I got up at 730 this morning. Haven't been out side yet, but the wind is still blowing pretty good. I'm liking how the models are trending for us up here.

We have been getting steady light snow here all day. I might have .75" on my back balcony. Down to 7 degrees.

I had to go to Johnson City for a doc appointment and they said half the patients didn't show up today because of "the storm" hahaah. It flurried the whole way there and back. It was a mess getting up the mountain from Banner Elk when I got back around 5.

It's down to 9 degrees already here at the Beech and blowing pretty good already. Wind chills are gonna be a bit chilly. I'm ready for Fri-Sat!

I hope the roads clear up tomorrow by mid morning. I've got to go to Johnson City and 194 can get pretty iffy from Banner Elk over to Newland.

I moved here from the NC coast and had a generator there. I bought a condo up here, so I didn't think I'd have the space or ability to have one if needed. I do have a kerosene heater, which I got after the storm for these situations, so I might fire it up.
