Nah, I'd bet your good for 4 to 6.  Think the cutoff is gonna be from an Indy to Muncie line.  As Jay said that cold air is going to come in like a rocket, already is on meso analysis, and be a liitle too much too late for me.  Your closer to the energy and should get a couple more hours of snow than I will

I hope you are right. It's just frustrating waiting for that first flake to fall. It's 230 pm and still haven't seen a flake or even any sleet or freezing rain.

had every type of frozen precip known to man except snow here.  Pushing a 1/4 inch of ice.  These winds tonight are really going to be a concern with the amount of ice.

I guess I should be thankful we are just getting a cold rain here. Holding steady at 33.

I still don’t understand why people do this.  It’s not the 1940’s, even if we got a foot of snow, give it a day at the most and roads will be fine to travel on.

I've seen an inch of snow shut down roads for 2 days in Georgia.

ILN has 6-10" for Columbus.  Curiously, they also have 8-12" for Madison County.  Not sure how that works.

Where are you getting the 6-10" ? I typed in Columbus and under the Winter Storm Warning headline it says 5-8.

ILN just issued Winter Storm Warnings for essentially the Muncie-Columbus corridor, which *seems* like the most certain area to get big snow totals despite all the variations in models this AM. Winter Storm Watches remain elsewhere.

Muncie is not under a warning and they are not in the ILN area.
