    This hobby always makes me wonder....what good does looking ahead do when the new information today makes yesterdays looking ahead look awful. My wish is that the analysis is less talking about trend this and trend that or predicting what is ahead and more just this is what this model says at this point in time. Too much personal bias and interpretation in general. My opinion anyway

    My very first post on eastern in 03 was in response to a Rainstorm post when I said the angle of the wind was all wrong. It fell flat and nothing has changed since. Rainstorm was a poster who was known for saying the angle of the cold was wrong...still flat

    It hasn't really snowed much since you have been back has it? Leesburg is definitely a tad better than Ashburn. After I left Leesburg I ended up in Lansdowne and it was always just a little less. It will be interesting how Aldie is as I'm south but more west. This could be a fun one

    Yeah there were drama board fights all of the time..Ian was in the middle of 90% of them I think. I'd bet his post count is still in the top 10 even though he hasn't been a regular for years. It wouldn't surprise me if he shows up this week

    Those snow maps give me PTSD from growing up in Takoma Park and also living in Woodbridge...moving north and west has generally helped but not always...still glad I did though
