I feel the most for Ji he worked so hard to get the models to show snow. I'm sure he is devastated right now hopefully he will recover quickly

This only sucks because we watched the progression from nothing to building potential to several runs supporting a significant snowfall for many then the gradual decline speeding up to the head on collision with climo. If for some reason we saw this threat last night for the first time we'd probably be like hey look i'll take that for mid December over 60 and sunny. But.....alas....we don't live there anymore.

Honestly this has the feeling that the obs further north won't be coming in so glamorous either...for some that will make them feel better I guess. For me I'm not much into worrying about what other people get or competing for the highest totals...I have tunnel vision when it comes to snow...I will appreciate what falls but won't lie, I'm disappointed at this point hopefully a better trend later.

Fun game...final call for snow. My house 2-4" rain washes away most of it Sykesville 3-5" a little less rain so some mulch snow left. Very little snow accumulations on the street...Thursday you wont even be able to tell it snowed in Leesburg. Solid December event if you look at it as a stand alone but pretty disappointing after tracking so long and what looked promising at one point. Hope I'm wrong and the models bounce back some.

So we literally went from feeling pretty ok this morning for the most part with the exception of H20 and then the early models started coming in and one or two of you yelled fire in the crowded theater and now after the euro and the NOAA map most are ok again with the exception H20. It sort of reminds me when I was in elementary school and I stood in line for the small pox shot from that big ass machine...started crying and then they gave me my sugar cube with my polio vaccine and all was good in the world again. So basically i'm saying we won't get small pox and polio after todays runs so that's a positive at least.

Some of these clowns need to learn the art of subtlety....they just straight up whine like mom just took away their electronics and took the door off the hinges to their rooms. Andy is ok, I just like giving him a hard time since I was the only one who talked to him at his first conference

Tracking is less fun now...too many model runs and way too many crybabies

Leaning towards girlfriends house in Sykesville vs staying in Leesburg....probably a wash but I get nervous going east in these situations but it's NE at least.

You have to admire his commitment to stay in character for so long as board disrupter douchnozzle in chief. It almost makes you wonder if that's how he is in real life.

The best way I've learned to try and not be so jumpy during these things is I set a reasonable yet cautious bar for accumulations with a low and a high side. Until this gets locked in as long as the solution falls within my range I don't get too worked up. Now if a total rainer rears its head today I'll probably be disappointed and if all models settle on a bomb then i'll raise my expectations. For now my low is 3" with lots of sleet/rain my high is 8" mostly snow. ETA: yes I slumped my shoulders when I read the Euro pbp...I don't care how objective or reasonable you are if you love snow that was a burning hemmeroid run.

I'm still hopeful for a decent event but this afternoon wasn't very encouraging. Of course I'll hang in till the end and whatever falls is gravy but this one's starting to get that fart in an elevator smell
