  1. VEB nooners in Hanover. 52 which is warmer than I thought it would get today. Wind makes it feel cold. I have lived in Philly, Harrisburg and very busy Florida and the traffic here in Hanover still drives me nuts. Want to get into starlight diner? You have 5 min of waiting in a line just go get there. Part of the issue is sams club.
  2. Plows down and snowblowers actively running in Blue Ridge Summit even now. 3-5" here now so guessing they had 6-yesterday. By the time I was 10 min down the road in Fairfield there was no snow.
  3. Watching 3+" of snow melt in the middle of the night has me in good shape right now.
  4. 34 this Am. The temp crested at 32 yesterday making it the first fully subfreezing day of the season in Rou. Nothing like that in the near future now as the upper 40's-60's prevail for several days. 6Z GFS has a rain/snow mix late Turkey into BF then real cold settles over the area. If we miss out on precip Thanksgiving the drought maps may start getting darker. All my snow is gone :(.
  5. The Blizz winter outlook suggests embiid will need to get to the NBA Finals to match mdt's inches
  6. Yea, Black Friday is dry Friday now. Weill see if the EC and Hab's capitulate.
  7. GFS-Turkey bowl is on, partly sunny and highs near 50.
  8. The precip maps on the GEFS looked better than that but again it is all a guising game of which members did what until you look member to member. Several members could be 2' of rain.
  9. Still snow here and some driveway stickage. This qualifies as a snow storm now despite no roads. Blue Ridge probably has 6-10" now.
  10. Without getting into details the models that showed the retrograde and snow changing to rain this afternoon did a pretty good job. Accums were always overstated for marginal areas.
  11. @mitchnick you are off your ensemble game. A lot of the GEFS runs must have snow for the median to look like it does.
  12. Yea, we are right on the cusp of accums. Nothing 1/2 mile away. I bet some roads are covered in Blue Ridge as well. Not sure why the roads here are not caving at all. Roofs started when the sun lessened as the suns was pushing through a bit earlier. Grass has been picking up from the start.
  13. Never know how valid these radar estimates are but this one is showing the snow collapsing quickly as some layers warm enough to change to rain OR rates slow down.
  14. We are up to 2-3" on the areas of grass that is has acummed from the start. Still nothing on the roads despite it being 28-29ish. Snow + right now.
  15. Mag always shows his cars in his shots...is this the Year a Lexus shows up?
  16. EC turns to cold and tranquil as anything that could form is squashed south of the US.
  17. EC Mid Day Thursday....boundary/540 line was too close to the LSV to start. Still would prefer no snow Turkey day. Family day ruin.
