  1. Probably true but it's all we have. Take them away and our weather is day to day and even then not so much. Ha.
  2. Understanding that its a timing situation, its still very strange the GFS and Euro are so far apart when the EPS is solidly behind the op. I see some more GFS like positions on that EPS map but more tucked.
  3. Hearing rumors that the Nam has been crowned the King but even I do not buy that. King GFS for now. #2 could be Nam but it was so poor on Summer temps, not sure I buy that either. But King Nam is a thing now.
  4. We never got above 30 this afternoon and the excessive sleet was just like a sheet of ice on the roads as it did raise above freezing for a short period last night. I just helped the guy delivering my grocery's and he said down in Waynesboro there is no ice on the roads so its localized.
  5. Icon has it but wide right and very similar to the Gem. No Go on the JMA or Nogaps. Right now it literally is just the Euro as to affecting PA. Since we are 4 days (or less) away, grading starts...GFS can solidify its spot or the Euro can put some money back in the bank with a long awaited victory.
  6. Congrats. At this risk of sounding much younger than I am, that is BOSS. Those tires look great. No more snow issues for you. LOL.
  7. Hope you avoid the illness. The long response! LOL. I asked because Superstorm (I think) said Hecs and I said it was not a Hecs, felt bad, and thought I better find out other opinions. I look at it in the thought of Hecs should only be something that happens once or twice a lifetime and BECS should be a disaster which is why I personally do not 36" is disaster in most cases. I guess it is if you are 2'8" tall and trying to take a Jebwalk. Speaking of Jebwalks, did you guys notice he was sort of down before this last storm. LOL. Dude could make losing a million dollars sound like a win usually but not this last storm.
  8. Well the potential Gulfer is the weekend, not Thursday AM Rush hour on the Harvey.
  9. HH Nam more concerned with FRZ in Mexico vs. a Gulf monster. 500 is fairly broad vs. the EC.
  10. He may be drinking a fresh, just poured glass of Florida Sour Grape juice. Ha.
  11. HH Nam gets into the period where there should be a low growling from the gulf.
  12. If I had to pick a Becs, for our area, I would say at least 60". 3 feet or more has happened a few more times than a Noah's ark scenario. LOL
  13. So what does everyone think about the differences for SECS-MECS-HECS. Not going to talk BECS. LOL. I have always used something like this when just considering snow. SECS: 8-16 MECS: 17-24 HECS: 24+
  14. At least they have extra planes. Allegiant is flying one to one a lot of times so they do not risk a plane getting stuck in snow....they keep it in Florida. DT has an Aleet Jr out
  15. LOL. Prince Nam is getting lots of press today. If its just the Nam they wait it gets one right then assumes it will get the rest of the winter right.
  16. What airline are you flying? If Allegiant you need it to be 24 hours later. LOL. They shut 'er down a day early based on modeled snow.
  17. I hope we can turn the corner faster and put us into the Hecs game, as well as put our Pitt brethren in play. They got hosed a bit yesterday. A Mecs incoming until it wasn't.
  18. So this system has a double meaning for you. Missing potential snow and travel. Did you see my note that it snowed a bit in Pensacola yesterday?
  19. A little more backwards tilt and Paweather is going to bring out his favorite word of last winter; tuck.
  20. The one met on the MA made an ob that we may have to sacrifice Thursday for Saturday. And also remember, the GFS has a Gorilla down there its just 2 days later and it slides by to the south. So both models have a storm brewing in the Gulf.
  21. Weenie Rule #1 (and not even close): The model that shows muh snows is the king.
