  1. It's wound down here but indeed, everything is white again. Although the temps did not work out for the best, it is still snow on snow.
  2. Yep, here as well. A good reminder about going into an "event" being cold the few days before vs. warm. I know it was in the mid 40's to 50 yesterday but quite cold several days before that. Despite the surface temp issues we could still some some black ice type issues this AM.
  3. We picked up a coating but the dry line is approaching. Freshened up the top of the pack. Maybe 1/4" - 1/2".
  4. Oh well....the worry about surface temps came to fruition for everyone.
  5. Nam's recovered from their horrid run to put us back in the game. The 3K almost had a precip hole over us at 12K. If not for several hours of rain, it would be 2-4. Not sure about road stickage with the surface temps. Still near 30 at lunch.
  6. Yea, the wave/enhancement is a bit late for us on the Nam. Front is through.
  7. Boy, the Nam has been leading the way on this as to having it first (earlier this week) but its really minimalizing it up this way now.
  8. Keep seeing several enhancement like dots for the Cascade area. Could see a 3-5" report there again. Temps will not be as big of an issue there.
  9. I am fine with any model disco so no issues on being picky. I just looked and thought it was close so my comment was basically "If we can get them work with us, we would have a good snow" vs. they are not working. The GFS was in the mid 30's when it started so not much room to spare if they are a tad warmer. Fingers crossed we score.
  10. I think that was the difference between where I was looking and you/Carlisle. Either way my comment about "if we can get them to cooperate" was open to them cooperating vs saying they would not.
  11. That much frz would cause area wide power outages but the Nam has slipped up on overstating frz lately so certainly not a forgone conclusion.
  12. I did not go hour by hour but I am seeing the info differently. Here are the 7AM temps. I am looking at 12K not 3K right now. Most of the LSV does not drop into the 20's until 10AMish.
  13. Come on guys, let's get back to weather! (Snark-joking)
  14. If we get the temps to cooperate I think Cashtown may classify this as a plowable. Surface temps are 32-34 during the height.
  15. Busy so just throwing out cheerleader snow maps. 18Z HRRR for Thur
  16. Just saw the EPS is still vacillating on the weekend thing. Still seems like a long shot but some members must being doing something different with the wave interactions. I do not have access to the members but saw this on the MA.
  17. The Nam was the only model that had this chance (a wave forming on a pressing front) a few days ago but since getting in range, the HRRR has been gung ho as well. 18Z coming out right now.
  18. Remember to add in some booms or bangs if something good.
  19. Not only are you in it for the long haul, you represent one of our most important locations. You are a tenured member, IMO.
