  1. Just had another gust to 40. Coming out of the East and hitting a different side of the house, than normal, is making for some strange and unsettling sounds. Really surprised we still have power.
  2. Thanks, makes me feel a bit better. Just up the hill from me. Surprised they are that high but if they held snow for an extra 30-45 min, that would have given them 1-2 more" at the rate it was coming down. It was sleeting so hard that I had to do my driveway again to get it off.
  3. It's really blowing here. We are almost into the dry slot near the low. Sustained is around 30 here as well.
  4. Up to 28 here. Hrrr has the eastern lsv getting into the 40's briefly before pulling in colder air on the back side of the low. No sun should limit the pack damage. That heavy rain though
  5. Have not had time to analyze too much but I feel like the GFS was on the non Miller A train first, the Nam (like usual it seems) was fairly decent in forecasting thermal issues over there and of course the dry slot.
  6. I think the GFS was the first to go away from the Miller A solution. If so, props to it.
  7. The forums 3 most vocally followed football teams are all going to fall today. Disappointing for everyone. Wanted them all to win.
  8. Dry slot is coming for me. Could not sleep with the sound of the sleet pounding on the house so glad to see it.
  9. Yea, it snowed for 6.5 hours. The last 2 hours were Moderate to heavy the whole time. No way we only would have had 3".
  10. Yep. The Nam also called for Dak to throw on the last play of the game. How did that work out?
  11. Seeing lots of Nam nailed it in other forums. LOL. Maybe for some people but the Nam had me getting 1-3".
  12. Hate when you are that much lower than me. Doubt myself but I am close to getting it right. It was still snowing when I last measured so beat that part.
  13. Our was Sn+ for about an hour. Trying to gauge the best I could with the snow light. All my measures are estimated of course. Could be 5 1/4" or 5 3/4". The 1" of sleet is pretty spot on though. The plow left a 3 foot pile in front of my driveway I had to get out before the sleet got it.
  14. Wow, did you not get in that band that drop 2+" in a bit over an hour? If it were not for the sleet, the blowing/drifting would be incredible.
  15. Just got back in. 5.5" of snow and 1" of sleet. Mix of sleet and zr right now. 24 degrees. The wind almost feels warm. Maritime like. @Cashtown_Coop, where do you stand? Not going to go back through all the posts.
