Not forecasting, just reading models on this one. Everything shows almost the entire state of PA is at risk for 2+" with many areas getting 3,4 or 5". So, 2-4" seems the safe bet right now. It is a warm, humid late/early summer like rain as well.
Today was the warmest feeling of the warm stretch. Was not as humid but the sun was just drilling down and baking until about 30-45 min ago. Seven consecutive days over 70.
It is super dry but so are you really. DP 40 here and upper 40's near you. Still in the 70's about 100 miles to our west so no crashing temps tonight but the wind no longer feels summer like.
Distinct chill in the westerly breeze now. Dropped down to 71 quite quickly. Maybe the last 70 this year? Will be close Thur and Fri. Euro sped up the weekend front. From ~70 on Sat to highs in the 40's.
Double digit miss on the zones today. Currently 80 and zone had (and still has) high of 69. HGR at 77. CXY 78, MDT Out of service....heat stroke? Hard to believe it could be in the mid 30's tomorrow AM.
58 here this AM. MDT was still in the 70's until past 1AM. MDT did sneak down to 64 yesterday morning meaning yesterday ties for the warmest Nov low in the history of MDT. November 4th, 1961 is the other.
Euro "teasing" that we have one more run at the upper 60's and low 70's next Friday/Saturday....slower front passage. GFS and CMC still a bit faster with the front and cool things down for Sat. All 3 are drenchers Fri night.
HRRR Suggesting all of the LSV makes low to mid 70's today.
MDT 7PM @ 70. Need to keep it to 65 or higher to break the all time Min Max record for Nov. (Edit-I see MDT's 5 min readings say 64 this AM but their 6 hour summary says 65) Min Max record for the day is in the bag.
