  1. Not forecasting, just reading models on this one. Everything shows almost the entire state of PA is at risk for 2+" with many areas getting 3,4 or 5". So, 2-4" seems the safe bet right now. It is a warm, humid late/early summer like rain as well.
  2. 38 for the low here. GFS and CMC continue to beat the drum for flooding rains answering the long-asked question "why do you wear yours pants so high"
  3. GFS doubling down on growing season ending here the second half of Nov. Highs below freezing. Right now we are getting summer weeds galore.
  4. Sweet, sweet low humidity air is making it so nice looking.
  5. Yea, the sun was June like today. Rain looks like a very good bet before the real cold hits. I still see some warmer spots hitting 70 or over Thur/Fri
  6. Some progs have more rain than some areas will be able to handle.
  7. NWS AFD says no flooding from Nicole but I see progs show 3-5" of rain in a 12-24 hour period. That is a lot of rain.
  8. I heard there has been a bit uptick in "positive" results in the Eastern LSV and the flu is getting some people as well.
  9. Today was the warmest feeling of the warm stretch. Was not as humid but the sun was just drilling down and baking until about 30-45 min ago. Seven consecutive days over 70.
  10. It is super dry but so are you really. DP 40 here and upper 40's near you. Still in the 70's about 100 miles to our west so no crashing temps tonight but the wind no longer feels summer like.
  11. LNS got to 75 or 76 so fairly close to you.
  12. Distinct chill in the westerly breeze now. Dropped down to 71 quite quickly. Maybe the last 70 this year? Will be close Thur and Fri. Euro sped up the weekend front. From ~70 on Sat to highs in the 40's.
  13. Double digit miss on the zones today. Currently 80 and zone had (and still has) high of 69. HGR at 77. CXY 78, MDT Out of service....heat stroke? Hard to believe it could be in the mid 30's tomorrow AM.
  14. Up to 77 now near 1PM. A nice 7 degree difference than what the GFS had. CXY 77, MDT 75.
  15. 58 here this AM. MDT was still in the 70's until past 1AM. MDT did sneak down to 64 yesterday morning meaning yesterday ties for the warmest Nov low in the history of MDT. November 4th, 1961 is the other. Euro "teasing" that we have one more run at the upper 60's and low 70's next Friday/Saturday....slower front passage. GFS and CMC still a bit faster with the front and cool things down for Sat. All 3 are drenchers Fri night. HRRR Suggesting all of the LSV makes low to mid 70's today.
  16. Coming up on Midnight and MDT is 68 and CXY 72! 67 here.
  17. 72 and breezy at 8:15. Something going on at Camp David/Raven Rock to my south.
  18. MDT 7PM @ 70. Need to keep it to 65 or higher to break the all time Min Max record for Nov. (Edit-I see MDT's 5 min readings say 64 this AM but their 6 hour summary says 65) Min Max record for the day is in the bag.
  19. High of 77 in Rou'Ville. Still 74 right now. No sun, 74 in Nov. Sheesh. This looks extreme
  20. We can see a long way here and see it is quite cloudy to our east. Variable clouds here now.
  21. Nooners from kings gap state park 1200 feet. Most sunny and 75
  22. Really hitting home (summer feel) this AM. Damp, humid, windows fogged, bugs all over the place.
