  1. I think much of the fascination is that for the umpteenth time recently the models and NWS zones were about 5 degrees too low in their depictions. I saw little to no 70 forecasts on the mesos' I looked at yet much of the LSV is now in the mid 70's. DP's of 70 now encroaching into the SW LSV and CXY at 74 degrees real temp.
  2. I actually thought of that when posting but tried to slip it by you, Atomic and Training. Failure in rou'ville.
  3. Well to me, that part is a good side effect vs. it being 55 and stuck in between. Either cold or warm so clothes choices are easy. It is so warm and humid I had to shut all my windows despite the great breeze. Everything in the house was getting moist feeling. The NWS zones are really lacking not discussing this. They just talk about the probably temp around daybreak tomorrow. Its going to be in or near the 70's until 3-5AM.
  4. I am a bit worried for southern areas of the lsv if looking for big rains. That low is getting so far north it may not have a lot left for far southern areas.
  5. Crazy map. Almost every reporting station is between 68 and 72.
  6. It is modeled to be in the mid 70's at ~850 right now. Things are mixing down more than forecast.
  7. Wow, MDT has joined you. Those two records (72 and 73) are now in play.
  8. Up to 71/70. Making many of our past summer nights blush in disgrace.
  9. I had already told my wife I had to stay up late for your 0Z GFS PBP. Itsanalyzingtime
  10. LOL. FYI, CXY has bagged their 70 so you can focus even more time on hitting refresh every few min waiting for the next panel of the GFS.
  11. 3PM, drizzly and 69. The pack is surely compressing.
  12. Bring CXY with you if you could. If needed you are probably committed to staying up until midnight, right?
  13. The cold is nearby next weekend. During winter this would be quite interesting for bowling balls. Cold to our north and the pipeline streaming by to our south.
  14. The thing that sticks out to me is that it is not even really cold. It is BN no doubt, but temps never go below 30 out 7 days. Other globals have been colder. Cast it off to being the Euro for now but if it is right, growing season continues on here.
  15. 12Z Euro is a different evolution for Tue but the PAweather 540 line is never below us so....
  16. The nightmare pic during a winter storm (unless one has switched over and wants to preserve.)
  17. Hotbox Euro now suggesting LSV may make a run at 70 tomorrow afternoon as well.
  18. You forgot to delete this from your MySpace account.
  19. You might as well. Not much difference between 4 and 6. Looking at the trajectory of the heavy snow I thought you might have had more though.
  20. Snow from the 1987 Vet Storm at their Allentown reporting station.
  21. Thanks for pics. The sun is breaking through thin clouds here right now. Good call by @Superstorm
  22. I certainly would not bet any money against it happening especially at our favorite former Harrisburg area commercial airport. Since the models focus the highest temps after dark it may be tough to make those numbers at MDT. If it is 73 at midnight, both records are instantly met/tied
  23. The best run for LSV snow on Tue was the CMC...worst I could find was the UK which is no snow anywhere in PA. CMC map. Kuch is a bit less.
