I have spoken to people today who are out of power and have 5-7" of water in their basement. The flooding aspect of this was really missed to as small streams and roads.
Latest HRRR continues to drum up below zero in the LSV. Not a fan of it actually. Nothing good can come of it. Risk to animals, peoples houses, etc....and with warmth a few days away, frozen ponds are not a real option either.
My wife wanted to leave our car out this Am to make it easier for her to load. I told her by 10AM you will not be opening the doors as they were wet at that point.
It is crazy.....we sometimes talk about the lack of snowstorms and sometimes blame it on no cold air but this is right up there with some of the coldest we were will face. I bet someone on this board gets a -10 tonight and someone in or near the LSV gets a -5.

You can change the last 3 letters to any station....LNS, MUI, THV, etc. (for anyone else seeing this link, I know you know that).
I was just enjoying the nerdy component of the discussion. That WPC map made it a bit confusing as it showed the front in the Lehigh Valley at 7AM. That seems to have been a bit quick.
