    This is one of my more favorites "busts or close bust" in a while. It is snowing as hard as anytime in the season so far. Driveway starting to cave. Good call by @MAG5035 a few days ago...ignored the naysay.

    Snow+ here, Dillsburg and Gettysburg right now. A full on model bust (for those that showed just rain, some did have something similar) for the early part of the storm.

    Just saw it is sleeting near DC and snowing as far south as Frederick.

    Out in fantasy land the GFS does have true artic air invade the MA. Does not kill too many peaches though as the trough is sort of spilt into two amongst the country. What it does have is ITT2 lining up our area at the end.

    LOL, dynamic cooling for the win? LOL, kidding. It switched back to snow here but just accumulating on the mulch. At about 1200 feet is where the snow is really laying right now. An ok event after the models had almost taken all snow away from us a day or two ago.

    Just turned to rain for now....about 1/2 mile up the hill they are Sn+ with roads caving (for now). Pretty surreal.

    12Z GFS has that Monday Clipper/wave really giving New York State a nice snow. Jealous...would have been great if that (and the required atmospheric ingredients) had trended south. Some people in NY and New England are making up on their winter totals.

    Snowflakes have commenced here. Models do not have it lasting too long. 34 degrees.

    My zones have gusts of 48 here tomorrow. Harrisburg "only" 39 mph but the Harrisburg zones now start off the precip today as snow and sleet and carry sleet into tonight.

    If that modeled sleet bomb for the MSV cones to fruition, it will be something to behold. Cold be 1-2" of just sleet. It is during dark hours' time unfortunately. Snow during the daytime.

    The cold is blunted a bit by the time of the year but would expect teens in the LSV and singles in colder spots with that look.

    Going to need the energy in the west to round the base of this trough as it is departing. This is not an avocado, it is a watermelon. The potential ITT is there in the breadbasket at 240 but this is so drastically different from the 0Z Euro, I do not feel it is worth digging into it too much.
