  1. What is your call for MDT tonight? If not one else enters, I will win by default.
  2. The GFS just caved to the CMC and sliced our nice weekend in half and the rain is not exactly that far away for Sat either
  3. You are actually not HIAing much today. 47 here.
  4. Not a cloud in the sky. Pretty amazing at the end of April. Spring punted a pooch punt into Coffin Corner on this one.
  5. @Itstrainingtimeedged out paweather, round 1, per this info from the NWS Site.
  6. 29 for a low. 30 right now. MDT got down to 36 or 37. Looks like there are more clouds in the LSV than over here where it is "partly cloudy".
  7. Mdt at 41. 1Z Hrrr initialized MDT at 41 right now. Gets all the LSV down to 31 at 6AM
  8. Hrrr has it a slow crawl the rest of the night. Only dropping another 5-10
  9. If it were me, I would hold off on the guilty verdict until one is needed. LOL. Sixers know they face a date with one of the most pressure filled games in NBA history if they lose tomorrow. I suspect there will be people with Red Sox jerseys in the stands if this goes to game 7.
  10. Spring punted the rest of April but its making inroads in May.
  11. Freeze Warning for tonight and Watch for tomorrow are both in effect for the LSV. Interesting HIA mention in here. URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service State College PA 226 PM EDT Wed Apr 27 2022 PAZ026>028-035-036-049>052-056-057-059-063>066-280630- /O.NEW.KCTP.FZ.A.0004.220429T0500Z-220429T1200Z/ /O.CON.KCTP.FZ.W.0003.220428T0500Z-220428T1200Z/ Huntingdon-Mifflin-Juniata-Fulton-Franklin-Union-Snyder-Montour- Northumberland-Perry-Dauphin-Lebanon-Cumberland-Adams-York- Lancaster- Including the cities of Huntingdon, Mount Union, Lewistown, Mifflintown, McConnellsburg, Chambersburg, Lewisburg, Selinsgrove, Danville, Sunbury, Shamokin, Newport, Harrisburg, Hershey, Lebanon, Carlisle, Gettysburg, York, and Lancaster 226 PM EDT Wed Apr 27 2022 ...FREEZE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 8 AM EDT THURSDAY... ...FREEZE WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE THURSDAY NIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING... * WHAT...For tonight for the Freeze Warning, widespread freezing temperatures in the upper 20s and lower 30s are expected. For the Freeze Watch, from late Thursday night through Friday morning. * IMPACTS...Freeze conditions will kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tonight, some of the urban centers and larger towns may not dip to freezing, but a majority of the area should freeze up for at least an hour. The latest forecast information can be found on the NWS State College Facebook page and Twitter @NWSStateCollege, or on the web at weather.gov/ctp.
  12. On its own in being about 10 higher than the GFS and a ludicrous 30 higher than the CMC (frontal differences)....but the boiler plate model going hot next week.
  13. Yea, I agree with the sun being out. Though it's only 46 here.
  14. @paweather cutting off his own 540 line. Snow in W VA.
  15. 12Z Meso Model run down so far: @HRRR: 31 @Nam 12: 29 @Nam 3: 31 @FV3: 33 @Rap: 32 @RGEM: 36
  16. I have had to turn on the heat. Got down to 62 in the house...a little too chilly.
  17. 12Z HRRR continued the trend of moving the snow showers a bit NE of the LSV as the primary low over Nova Scotia and New Brunswick sits and spins a bit father East than originally predicted. A bit disappointing if that plays out. That low actually retrogrades a bit and is still sitting in a similar area Friday AM and takes until Sat AM to fully evacuate. It potentially dump's a foot of snow in North Maine and SE Canada.
  18. Temp at MDT dropped last hour. 42 and cloudy here.
  19. I did not look at the CMC before making that post. The CMC is not good for Sunday. In fact, the CMC is a frontal shit show well into next week.
  20. Maybe best of 3 if we have two different winners Thur and Fri Am. Sat Am tiebreaker with only the two winners from the previous two days :-). Could get convoluted when more than one person pics the same temp.
  21. It is still only 41 here. Not so windy here yet.
