12Z Global wise, a Potpourri of depictions for the M-W period next week...N PA gets snow in most. Track a bit too far north for the LSV right now, so cold rain down here. The CMC is a NE thriller.
Late Nooners...43 and raw.
12Z Nam has snow breaking out across Northern PA Monday evening as a low approaches from the SW. Note the secondary forming off the VA Capes/DelMarVa. RGEM not thrilled with the evolution here as it never really develops this piece of energy letting it slip south of PA with little to no precip.
A soaker here continues. We did not get the storms last night but raining quite hard right now. 43 and about .8 total so far. We may get more than some (later) as the front hangs in N MD.
Try to get March on solid (well muddy) ground and not let the deficit get too bad. That Cluster of storms was highlighted on Channel 8 6PM news last night...it was up around Lewistown at that point.
The apparent lack of hitting 70 today sets up MDT for a decent chance of no 70's in March...would be first time since 2018 as I mentioned the other day. Still 7 days to go but today was the obvious chance to break that.
The last couple months, the GFS has spanked the Euro often specific to first to trend on impending weather. Heisey said it and I concur, the Euro has been a joke recently. Disappearing storms 4 days out.
I forgot to add my rain total to it being 61 here now...not much more than you at .4". The most important Euro run of the late first 1/3 of spring is on deck. @paweather the site logs show you checking in on that 0Z GFS run from last night. Join in :-)
