    You and Canderson were my two most likely suspects :-). On that graphic, as I commented yesterday, the rain has been so scatter shot this year than one part of a county can be near normal and another in a major deficit. Except for that one tropical storm the rest has been almost all scattered frontal and daytime heating type rain. I think in the northern 2/3 of the state is more representative of a more general drought vs. the micro droughts in the south.

    It rained most places the last few days of August. Outside that many locations have been shut out in September.

    Another stellar day for getting outside. Made it to 74 but felt cooler. Probably a lot of 80's readings coming tomorrow. Maytown A/C on full power.

    Apparently this letter is why our supplier sent out the letters door to door. I called them and was told that they were told S/E Franklin County is officially in a drought warning now on the verge of a drought emergency. The county as a whole is not doing as poorly.     EC gets Beta's moisture up to S/E PA on Friday now. Would be quite welcome for some.

    We just got mandatory no grass or flower watering flyers dropped off at our houses. Now I am going to have to do it in the dark.

    Looking at the GFS and Euro MR forecasts it is entirely possible some people in PA will go the whole month with no rain (other than trace). That is pretty impressive in a bad way.

    MDT has not had 44" of snow in a whole winter since 2009-2010 to show how impressive your 6 day streak was. MDT had two 70+ inch winters between 93 and 96 sandwiching one of the worst winters ever, snowfall wise, in 94-95. Only 9". Interesting thing about 93-94 is that MDT had less than 1" going into the new year. 70+" fell in Jan-March.

    Weird weather. 61 now headed for 70's if it does not slow down. Saw you went up 10 degrees in the last hour. Our temps here have been slowing raising since 3am.

    Growing season ending early in Cashtown. It is now up to 49 here. Only thing missing is the weather chart showing an app runner pouring the warm air in. Its 11 degrees warmer now than yesterday at this time.

    Temps rose quite a bit overnight here. Was down to 39 but now 45.

    I was just going to write about this. In the shade one almost needs long sleeves but in the sun the sweat comes quickly.

    September 24th 1963 it got to 32 or below at MDT which I think is the earliest if you cut the dates from Jan 1-July 31 and Aug 1 to Dec 31.

    Yea, hoping before mid October otherwise I will have to wait until Spring. I will be in Florida that last week of Sept but if I see it coming I may put it down next week. The farmer beside me just had his whole crop felled. The cobs never grew without water. He said he expecting about 75,000 dollars from insurance and a government grant. Crazy times.
