  1. I saw a quote from the mayor of Pensacola who said they got more rain in 4 hours than is normal in 4 months. I think the 4 hours comment was an exaggeration but they are claiming 30+" in the till. Radar estimates do not show 30" but regardless that comment made me think of this comment and chuckle a bit.
  2. The 6Z dropped 1/4" here but nothing else did so I knew it was probably a fleeting hope.
  3. Hey, I meant Euro when I said EC. For 7-8 days out. I did see the Nam is pulled back on its intrusion into PA again. I was hoping for better final results. Going to be tough watching it rain a lot 30 miles to my south.
  4. EC at least gives some hope for rain in 2/3 of PA in 7-8 days when it performs a joining ceremony with Invest 90L and a Northern Wave.
  5. @paweather if you really want to go into tracker mode the Nam, over the last 4 runs, has been constantly driving the remnants of Sally further North and West to the point that the State Winners for 2020, SE PA, score quite well on the 18Z. The trend is our friend? It was suggesting this on some runs yesterday but had dropped it for the previous few runs.
  6. That Corridor from the LA/TX line over to the FL Panhandle is magnet this year as 90L visits them twice over a 10 day period.
  7. As long as whatever is out there stays weak I am ok but I would really hate to get stuck down there so anything out in the Gulf is a risk (plus I wanted to go to the beach that Sunday...Bradenton). I am making one long trip down there now when things are fairly calm with Covid. I will be more toward N Central Florida.
  8. Looking at more panels it seems the Trop Storm/Weak Cane next week is the remnants of what is now 90L.
  9. The EC had something at 0Z but shunted it south and did not make it a risk like it is showing now. Just peeked at the GFS and saw an area of disturbed weather but not a High level Tropical Storm of Cat 1 like the EC is showing. I am going to Florida that weekend and the EC worries me a bit.
  10. EC now has a weakish Hurricane in the Gulf next week at this time.
  11. Its our country and what people value. I just know many businesses are telling their employees to expect complete travel bans from October-March so I just do not see the sense in starting football right when the bans are starting.
  12. Seems risky on the football thing. They may have been better of playing the games in Aug and Sept. Once cold and flu season get here its going to be hard to go out again.
  13. LOL. We still still have October-Dec. Some areas of Central PA have only received 4" of rain since May 1 so Rouzerville is not the bottom of the barrel. I am just the one that bitches about it the most.
  14. Wells are suffering here. Lots of dirt water. The rain has been so random and dispersed where one area might just be dry while another has seen their water level drops 50-60% from start of 2019 so some areas are at their lowest levels in decades if not more. Thank goodness we have municipality water. With little rain expected through September much of West Central PA will end up having less than 10" of rain over a 5 month period.
  15. You could go back to May and make this post for most of PA.
  16. Very sorry to hear that. Pets are the world to so many. Is she acting normal otherwise?
  17. When you have a pet that is sick and will only eat Temptations cat treats you go where they have them. But I get your drift and stay out of there as much as possible. The funny thing is that the WM's here in PA are a delight compared to the ones in Central Florida. Most Florida WM"s are a wasteland. The People of Walmart web site won't even accept most pics from Florida because they are so bad.
  18. You know Winter/Cold weather is almost like everything else in our society today. When it gets within in a month or two of it people want to start celebrating it. The Wal-Mart in Waynesboro is already fully stocked with your Christmas needs.
  19. I completely missed that, sorry. My head is at 50,000 feet for the first hour after I get up. I saw your posted but skimmed it. They covered exactly what I posted about.
  20. It got down to 58 in the house this Am with the doors and windows. I cannot honestly say I was overly comfortable. A tad chilly.
  21. That was what I was thinking and had read. (I saw one article say 20,000 Miles though. Ha). Thanks for the info. The articles I read had said NYC so did not want to post them here.
