EPS finally gets me into the purple

@psuhoffman I was wondering why i couldnt remember any KU's or even good storms between Feb 20 and March 1st. Lol..there hasnt been any https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Northeast_Snowfall_Impact_Scale_winter_storms Here is the list i found February 22–28, 1969 February 22–23, 1987 (Lame ass) February 25–27, 2010(that didnt impact us) the Feb 2015 storm didnt even make that list.... my guess is that usually that week is drained since the week before then is really snow typically

yea..i know...its the 2nd thing i check after seeeing a big red heigh anomoly over us at 500mb. thats why i said it will be a heck of a battle

EPS is consisent with the SE ridge and the -NAO and 50 50 low. EPO is terrible---should be a heck of a battle that we end up losing. Looks better D11-15 haha

so what the purpose of the GEFS? If it shows weenie pattern for 9 straight runs and then show a bad pattern for the last run?

I mean this is a really good high location. Get the mid levels a bit cooler and the thump of snow is back

I wouldn't give up. Euro is colder this run than 12z yesterday and stronger high

i am a bit perturbed/distubed by how many midwest/ohio valley storm the GFS/FV3/Euro is showing in long range

We might have to wait till week 3(lol) to get the cleanest looks but I think starting next week every threat is a threat

3 in the last 8 sucks because thats our epic period lol

the EPS snowfall mean sucks...its only 6 but 3 is from an event a few days away....so the other 3 are in the next 10 days after that. yikes!

dont assume anything...everything that we know about winter...the exact opposite has happened this year

the euro did the most complete about face for this weekend...wow...00z had a MECS...12z has a storm way up north

this is just an appetizer anyway for the Feb 2010 period we are going in
