maybe the euro is on to something. IT owes us after busting horrible for tomorrow at 72 hours. @stormtracker Ive never seen the euro bust so bad at 72 except when it comes to giving us snow

Well it kills the se ridge for sure. Wish nao was better but maybe that improves. Also much improved for mid week

Euro is a long duration snow to ice storm. Maybe icon wasnt off its rocker. It's always sniffing stuff out. The culprit is a much flatter western trough so the se ridge is also flatter. Also a better look in 50 50 region. A dramatic difference from 12z . I mentioned that a euro bias seems like it gets too deep with sw trough sometimes. Lets hope it sticks. Also euro has a nice nao at d10 lol

sad ending.....especially when everything piece of data we had told us we were going to have an epic winter. This winter is like the opposite of 13-14 where it looked bleak and we had an epic winter. This winter looked epic and it was bleak. This winter is up there with 01-02 for me

dont mean to be negative so i will try to put a positive spin.... but we needed a big bomb cutter for the Tuesday/Wed storm. Instead we got a saturday surprise snowstorm...which also fell apart....and also ruined sundays chances. So basically we gained nothing from losing the bomb cutter except we lost everything

well..its always 50 50 where a storm trends....but its a 100/0 when we need to to trend in a way that we want

how is DT going to look that he cancelled winter....then cancelled it..telling his public that he was dead wrong...and now has to go cancel it again. If he would of kept it cancelled, he would of been riding high

I can get a good winter if we get a HECS in March. I think we are due for one. You really need a HECS this march or winter is disaster for you. you should punt anything less than that.

i only have 23 in a winter i was suppose to get 45. I am 22 inches below normal

Yea..i wasnt impressed with EPS....looked like transient cold as trough went east...the NAO was non existant...basically it was a terrible run unless you like seeing a few days of blue in the east

i wish that it was the OP model this winter. It would be alot more fun...untill it came down to the actual storm...but the fantasies would have been fun!

we needed a south trend this past weekend--it went north. We need a north trend this weekend--it goes south. It never ends

with that said--the 18z is a monster improvement...looking more like the FV3. Hopefuly the Euro bias of too much trough in SW will play out in a few days
