if you issue a winter storm warning and we get 4 inches...nobody will care. And it happens all the time. But when you issue a winter weather advisory after considering a blizzard warning and most models are showing 4-6 inches of of snow..it dosent make any sense.
just give me my damn winter storm warning!
so they chose a winter weather advisory--but blizzard warning was considered. Thats like someone going to Ruth Chris steak house and ordering the filet of fish sandwhich
what are you talking about? The NWS posted 3-5 inches last night on their snow maps....and then the models got even better overnight---then i wake up and see they reduced it to 2-3 inches despite the models getting better. This was just about the NWS maps lol.....
PSU just said it was a night shift/day shift opinion thing so he cleared it up
euro has been on a roll lately. For the Wednesday event....in all its runs...it never had the 850 line south of us...while the NAM,GFS,etc gave us heavy snow
what a juicy event today. in the old day...we would of seen at least snow mix with rain and not accumuate. The Euro had mixed precip for my area at 12z. the NAM/Euro had me at 35/36 at 12z with heavy precip....it never went below 40
