  1. No cold air around...not even close, bag it. 37F/...aaaaaannnndddd it's cloudy.
  2. That's what sports books want then they can't lose w/the 10% juice regardless. People bet 5mil over/5mil under then you (sports book) collect 500,000 no matter what the outcome. I guess if you're super smart and see a pattern coming you can make out...
  3. Not only that but I could see lunatic METS like DT opening up a secondary website for "Weather Locks of the day" w/a subscription fee. For the day: 12am-11:59pm Philly: O/U 3.2" snow Chi: O/U 26mph peak winds Kansas: O/U 3 tornadoes Reddit has a threat on weather gambling...didn't read it all but METS are interested.
  4. I cut the cord years ago and still watch the 70's sitcoms here and there (The Jeffersons, All in the Family etc) on the antenna TV (Channel 17.2 in Philly). They don't censor the N-word, Honkey, Jew, Sp*c...it's when people didn't take things so seriously. Since this is a weather forum, "FOX Weather" 24hrs on Channel 29.5 isn't bad and they don't "loop" programming from what I've seen. LIVE and documentaries...not bad for late night viewing, a couple beers and waiting for the incoming storm to miss us. Good fun...
  5. Remember when Jim gave out the "real feel" temperatures all the time rather than the "actual" temperature to confuse old folks and the confused/misinformed to generate hype/ratings?
  6. I was hoping to get the blowing (wind) cloud into the mix as well but oh well...
  7. I agree. It's probably a little shady right now but if there is a demand they (sports books) will figure it out to make it work. The -1600 is ridiculous. Looking at oddssharks real quick this is how I thought it would would work. (Talk about daily addictive gambling) https://www.oddsshark.com/other/weather-betting-odds
  8. Sure don't. The 1970s cold outbreaks meant a 5 day+ stretch w/highs in the teens/low 20s... 25F
  9. I'll easily take this weather over 98F, H-H-H with bugs/insects F'en w/me... 15F
  10. Temps are no where we need them to be. Mid 40-45+. Anyhow, it's superbowl weekend and I would give up a monster blizzard event to see the SB and a Birds win. Hobbies/Leisure: #1 Sports #2 Music #3 Weather 22F/some sun/windy
  11. Just seen this on FOX29. During the pandemic since their were no sports people bet on weather and now gaining popularity. Not sure how it works but I'm sure some METS or weenies could benefit financially. Probably a lot of over/unders for precip or/and temps...ties "push".
  12. Odd. Been around 29-30F since around 3:30 am...29F now.
  13. Under a heavier blob, hard surfaces slightly coated w/swirling/blowing but yeah, almost done.
  14. Whatever falls may actually stick. Below freezing and still dark... 29F/Cloudy
  15. ^ Snowing in Allentown at 3:54am. Hopefully a couple flakes here as it comes south...
  16. Line appears to be coming down...may be nothing. 29F/DP 24F/Cloudy
  17. Phils start Spring training ( Split squad,2/25) 13 days after the Superbowl (2/12) Very limited time off to keep my mind off winter and for the best...
  18. Damn, what are the odds of this happening/occurring...
  19. Doesn't stop there. As I was walking around waiting for my prescription to be filled, home and garden section had pallets of top soil/grass seed and outdoor picnic tables/chairs ready to go out for display. Can't blame them, this winter was/is a disaster... 35F/Mostly cloudy
  20. Will there be a shot of flurries/snow shower/squall later tonight w/the cold air rushing in? Looking out the same window on the recliner after work for weeks+to the West and the same during late afternoon...clouds, no actually sunset. Same thing over and over, groudhog day. Was just at Walmart on my way home. Grills galore stacked (Charcoal/gas) as you enter... 37F/Mostly cloudy
