  1. JB is trash....his name should be blocked on this site. And LOL to the second bold.
  2. Congrats. We're probably in the same age range and to piss away time (and stress...believe it or not) for nothing is stupid. Hell, if I was retired and had a boat-load of money...it would be a cool but a tad stressful hobby but still cool. Unfortunately I'm not rich... If you like weather, you have to get yourself more involved w/T-Storms during the Spring/Summer rather than hibernate. They are quite fun. There's no 7-10 day outlook (for the most part) ...just potential. Sitting on the back deck (enjoying a cold one) hearing that distant rumble of thunder moving in, checking radar and seeing a bunch of "red" is pretty cool. No question winter/snow rules but there are other avenues...
  3. Admit it....you can't help yourself!!! (kidding) I'm glad I've been super-mega-ultra busy this winter. If I had the time to look at every model I would have jumped through the window by now, just pure torture. It's like getting smacked in the face every 6 hours...carry on Ralph and watch out for the glass. (Steve)
  4. In Warrington, Bucks county currently....maybe a 1/2" or so...snowing lightly. Another burst should be arriving soon....28F.
  5. I'll go out of my way to predict more than last Sat into Sun storm around here...those damn flakes were so small! I'm outside now and just looking at the radar around Pitt and my (becoming more cloudy skies above)...I'll beat last weekend.
  6. My nails are still in the toolbox. Won't start my official nailing till tomorrow... *Off topic a bit, anyone have any insight (weather) on the Pats at KC Sunday at 6:40pm?
  7. If this happens and KamuSnow places his "sleet pile" in the correct location (limited/no sun) I swear it could last through March into April w/our outlook.
  8. Quite a difference between upper and lower Bucks and Montgomery counties. Hopefully you (lower Bucks) and I (lower Mont) can eek out some of the good stuff. Still 2+ days to work on things...
  9. GFS...2" tomorrow night...easily take that. More than last weekend "storm".
  10. I'm all for it...we haven't had a good one for quite some time.
  11. Freezing rain map from the MA subforum...
  12. It happens like that everywhere for the most part w/very few exceptions. First, the deadly ping against the window then no more pings which equals plain rain.
  13. Cold and rainy....just like this winter. Summer will be record breaking HHH with limited T-Storms and the ones which do form will miss us or die before they reach our location. Fall will be above average besides a freak Oct snow storm which will screw up the 2020 winter.
  14. Then the sun angle starts to play a factor unless at night. I've almost come to the conclusion we are not going to win this winter no matter what...maybe some dribs and drabs but nothing super nice. Decent chance the Nov storm may have been our best...
  15. That really doesn't bother me since they get screwed most of the time....ever so often it's one of their years, not ours.
