I miss the days where 50s would be common in Oct w/a day or two hovering in the 40s and a stray flurry/snowflake. Hell, now here are entering mid Nov next week w/temps in the mid 60s(+?) and the site of a flurry is not even on the radar. My guess is Dec 12th for our first stray flake...

If our general area didn't have that 7-10 day cloudy period average Oct temps would have been higher and the 2nd warmest temps on that chart may have been 1st. Philly's record was 64.5F/avg/Oct and we hit 64F/avg/Oct. I would think even if half of our cloudy days were sunny/partly sunny we would've broke the record...

I somehow missed this last year why Glenn abandoned his winter forecast. I knew he didn't release a forecast but didn't know exactly why...
