  1. I miss the days where 50s would be common in Oct w/a day or two hovering in the 40s and a stray flurry/snowflake. Hell, now here are entering mid Nov next week w/temps in the mid 60s(+?) and the site of a flurry is not even on the radar. My guess is Dec 12th for our first stray flake... 54F at 3:20pm
  2. Accuweather 11pm, departure from normal next week. I thought we turned the corner but apparently not...
  3. You can just visit the MA and NY subforums and see what mets are saying and get the jist for our area. We're smashed right in between the two areas... 37F
  4. Ch6 and 10 have upper 60s mid to late next week. Channel 10 had to be rebel and throw in a 70F on Tues or Wed... 43F
  5. ^Nice. It's that time of year. Throw in a cinnamon vodka apple cider drink and that's Fall... 35F at 12:15am
  6. Accu Weather predicted low tonight is 30F...let's see how that works out. 50F
  7. According to Glenn 2 miles down the road in Blue Bell had a overnight low of 31F...
  8. 36F at 3:10am...need a little push to achieve 32F.
  9. 37F at 2am...frost yeah but freeze seems unlikely.
  10. 46F now w/more of a light rain rather than mist..
  11. Only 47F at 1pm w/some mist in the air. May hit 32F tonight...
  12. If our general area didn't have that 7-10 day cloudy period average Oct temps would have been higher and the 2nd warmest temps on that chart may have been 1st. Philly's record was 64.5F/avg/Oct and we hit 64F/avg/Oct. I would think even if half of our cloudy days were sunny/partly sunny we would've broke the record... 44F 12:30am
  13. Yeah, kinda late but burbs will get a freeze mid week and a frost for Philly... 56F/ Breezy
  14. Pretty solid Halloween day and evening upcoming. Breezy, temps in the 50s, clouds, occasional shower and leaves on the ground... Mostly cloudy, breezy/ 58F
  15. Light-mod rain streaming S-N...wasn't expecting this. Thought a stray shower or so overnight... 57F
  16. I thought that was a truck driving by w/loose cargo... *There was nothing on radar to indicate thunder
  17. I somehow missed this last year why Glenn abandoned his winter forecast. I knew he didn't release a forecast but didn't know exactly why... "I have determined these forecasts to have marginal what we call “skill.” Skill is anything better than flipping a coin. There’s no reason to do them at this point other than public demand. I’ve always said that if it ever got to the point where I didn’t feel the confidence to be able to do it with skill, then I would ask: Why are we doing it? We used to do them with skill." https://www.phillymag.com/news/2020/12/07/philadelphia-winter-forecast-hurricane-schwartz/
  18. 50's all next week for highs and burbs will see overnight lows freezing or below mid week or so...pretty pumped. 59F
  19. Decent blob of rain moving through here/Mont county. Windows open, good sleeping weather hearing the rain fall. Sandy 9yrs ago today..well yesterday since it's just past midnight... 54F
  20. Locking wheels would be ideal. Wind has just about shut off completely. Window open and not even a breeze. Maybe a couple showers overnight. 54F
  21. Read my mind. Changing my car oil/filter...54F/wind/dark clouds/mist and leaves falling and blowing around. I'll take this any day over 80F, high DPs and sunny.
